Cbb ratings crisis

Just 910k last night is that an all time low very worrying numbers for this stale format

lostalex 30-08-2015 03:02 PM

i think it is the highest rating ever for c5

what Tv shows were up against CBB on the other channels? which show got the biggest rating?

give us some context.

Will. 30-08-2015 03:03 PM

theres no rating crisis.

Everything's been down 200k on last Summers.

yes yesterdays was really bad.

bots 30-08-2015 03:04 PM

while some of the cast are known, I think its a long stretch to declare any of them celebrities in the purest sense of the word. On that basis, its not living up to its own definition, so why would it attract an audience other than BB fans. I think that is reflected in the viewing figures.

JoshBB 30-08-2015 03:06 PM

900k is absolutely awful. I remember ratings in the 3millions in CBB15, let's hope this is only a blip where people were watching other things.

Most probably got distracted by x factor.

CBB14
Launch: 2.36M
Day 2 - 1.75M
Saturday - 1.1 excluding +1

CBB16
Launch - 2.25M
Day 2 - 1.56M
Saturday - 900k excluding +1

lostalex 30-08-2015 03:11 PM

someone from the Uk please tell me, what TV shows are on the other channels when CBB is on, so i know what the comparisons are/

are there some great british shows on at the same time? which shows are more popular than CBB?

I'm curious.

Friday is:

BBC One - Ripper Street
BBC Two - Great British Bake Off sister show
ITV - Piers Morgan Lifes Story
Channel 4 - 8 Out of 10 Does Countdown

They all get between 1-3M normally I think.

I agree alex - its brill and I am loving it.

Firewire 30-08-2015 03:39 PM

You need to also look at the percentages. And it was on at 10.30pm, not 9.

Ashley. 30-08-2015 03:42 PM

Lmao do you know what a ratings crisis is

You're telling me the other 64 million Brits were watching that?

Will. 30-08-2015 04:02 PM

isn't wasn't even on when XF was on, XF only got 7M.

Amy Jade 30-08-2015 04:02 PM

It was on after X Factor and at a later time than normal.

900k isn't that bad considering

Jarrod 30-08-2015 04:43 PM

You make a "Ratings crisis" thread for every series.

This thread again? Really?

It's the first Saturday rating of the series - it was on a bank holiday weekend. It was on at a completely unfamiliar time. Oh and it's the 3rd episode. It's not a ratings crisis. Yet.

Smithy 30-08-2015 04:54 PM

It was on @ half 10 tho...

Moosething 30-08-2015 07:26 PM

It's always a crisis

AProducer'sWetDream 30-08-2015 07:53 PM

Ratings for Big Brother have been going down (with a couple of exceptions) steadily since 2007- so every series is likely to rate less than the last. This is not a ratings crisis! Big Brother will not last forever, so I say let's make the most of it and focus on enjoying the show rather than panicking about the fact that less people are watching it.
