Nicki Minaj and Miley beef at VMA
 

MTV Video Music Awards took an awkward turn tonight when*Nicki Minaj*confronted Miley Cyrus on stage about some recent controversial comments.

While accepting her*Best Hip-Hop Video award for 'Anaconda', Minaj called out Miley for publicly condemning her anger at being shut out of the Video of the Year category this year.

"Now back to this bitch that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press - Miley, what's good?" Minaj quipped as she ended her speech.

"We all do interviews, and we all know how they can be manipulated," Miley responded when she returned to the stage, adding: "Congratu-******ing-lations, Nicki."

As Miley attempted to move the ceremony along, the camera briefly cut back to Nicki mockingly pointing at the night's host.
