TiBB Dansk Melodi Grand Prix 2015

Although Christmasvision is only two months away, I am giving you (with permission from both Shaun and Josy) the right to choose the song I will use for TiBB Christmasvision 2015. TiBB Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is the first National Selection on TiBB, and it is also the first one for Denmark (which I will participate as in December).

Format:
The format of TiBB Dansk Melodi Grand Prix is simple. It is the Melodifestivalen Final voting format. 473 points overall. Each of the 11 international juries gives 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 points to one of the 10 or 12 songs. Then, the viewer vote will be held; in which the viewers will vote (each rank counts as two votes), I will count up the votes for each song, and convert them into points using the equation of 473 pts. times % of votes for a song = the viewer points for the song. The song with the most points wins.

Some of the rules are as follows:
The people that are wanting to participate in this will write the songs; however, each of the songs must be co-written by the person who is submitting the entry and myself. The songwriting will be done in a Skype session. I would have the majority of the songs be completely self-composed, while the minority of the songs would be parodies of popular songs. You have one month to co-write a song.

My Skype (for song co-writing and conversations): josiah.stuart38

Well, I'll let members of TiBB decide what my entry will be.

Ammi 03-09-2015 05:46 AM

..great idea Josiah, I'll look forward to seeing what the choices are and which one is chosen...

Good luck and I'm looking forward to it though

Tom has been added to the OP as one of the international juries. If you want to write a song with me, let me know in here and please add me on Skype (unless you've already added me).

Also, here's the link to the Soundcloud recording of me saying numbers and point sayings in Swedish (because Swedish is easier to speak than Danish).

I'm already working on the graphics for the show itself.

gamepodfan 05-09-2015 07:20 PM

Mokka 05-09-2015 09:55 PM

Put me down for Norway if it pleases you Josiah... Although I don't full understand the rules as of yet, I would love to participate :flutter:

Mokka, what will happen is you will add me on Skype; and we will write a song for me to sing in Christmasvision. Then, you will submit the song (with song title & recording of me {and possibly you}) to me through PM.

Well, my daughter Will be happy to not have to sing for me again

If people still want to participate, they can write a song with me, or be one of the international juries, or (pull a Mokka) and do both.

Also, my Skype username is josiah.stuart38 for anyone that is songwriting and needs to add me on skype.

gamepodfan 07-09-2015 05:43 AM

i like to apply please

Josiah. 09-09-2015 02:13 PM

Bump. Anyone want to co-write a song or be an international jury?

Josiah. 16-09-2015 06:45 PM

Places for International Juries and/or Songwriters are still open for anyone to take.

Morgan. 17-09-2015 06:38 AM

I'll be an international jury, could I be United Kingdom?

Josiah. 15-10-2015 05:57 PM

Okay, bumping this seeing as how it will be happening in a month & 1 week. I have noticed that songs need written and submitted; and that 8 of the international juries need chosen.

Josiah. 22-10-2015 05:50 AM

Okay, as Shaun had put up the Christmasvision 2015 thread up yesterday and TiBB Dansk Melodi Grand Prix (this) is exactly a month away, I have noticed that songs need written and submitted; and that 8 of the international juries need chosen.

Bump.
