To make it more fair, make them nominate 1 of each.
 
I think from now on there should be a rule that when they nominate they choose 1 American and 1 Brit each. Do you think this rule would make it more fair?

It would make it more interesting definitely or if they wanted a new nomination twist one week they could make them use both their noms on their own "team"

Being allowed to vote for whoever they like is fair.
Anything else is being dictated to.

I was going to post basically this. Unfair would be them disliking someone but not being able to vote for them based on nationality.
