What are you thoughts on Smart Watches?

I was at my local Apple Store in Covent Garden yesterday, I had an appointment at 12:15pm, but because I was 20 mins late they cancelled it!!! And rescheduled it at 5:45pm.

I had a lot of time to spare, and couldn't be arsed to go home, so went and looked at the Apple Watches.

I quite liked them but I found them slightly annoying.

I said I was interested in one to the guy (as then he shows you all the features and lets you try them all on).

I found the Sport more comfortable than the Watch (middle range one), plus it's a more durable material.

The heart beat feature was really weird, you can send your heart beat to someone else, it was odd.

But overall I like them but would wait a couple of years before thinking of getting one.

I love the samsung one.

I have an apple watch and I love it, it's very useful.

I think if I had one, I would love it! Do you have the Sport?

I think it's useful when your out, as texts come through.

I think they are pointless. What can they do what my phone can't already do better?

Game Pod voted the "Bugger off Will" option!

Waste of money tbh, everyone has a smartphone why do I need a smaller version of it that can't do half of what a phone can

Lostie! 05-09-2015 05:08 PM

I don't really see the point tbh, but each to their own I guess. I won't be buying one, though.

I'd rather a watch just be a watch.

RichardG 05-09-2015 05:09 PM

I think they're a bit silly really, I'd rather just have a normal watch for the time and a smartphone for all that other stuff.

To get my Space Grey MacBook fixed lol, the back panel was slightly loose!

They said it didn't come under warranty, and said it would cost £400!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which I would never pay.

But today I have pushed it up and held it there for a while, and it's fixed!
