Dip Dyeing my hair...

I wanna dip dye my hair and I really don't know what colour to go for! I want something bright! I'm stuck between Pink, Purple and Green.

This is my hair now. I hate how blonde it is on the ends. Its awful. I asked my hairdresser to go brown, with a lil bit of blonde on the end, but I think she had other plans.

What do you think would look best? The only thing about my hair being bleach blonde on the end is that it will dye easily.

..you could try some of those really cheap/party extensions first and see which colours suit your complexion and your style/clothes etc..if you still can't decide then why not go for something like this with a few colours../sorry it's not a great pic but most I could find were darker hair, rather than blonde but it's a great look I think...

..I'll see if I can find some more pics later and maybe you can see if you can get any inspiration from them...

Ammi the harrowing fashonista?

Make sure you get it done professionally Nina, I know so many people who dip dyed their own hair themselves and have just got a 50/50 split in colour rather than blending etc

Get a pot of directions whichever suits you the best,a pack of toothbrushes and a conditioner from the pound shop.
Mix on an old plate blobs of the conditioner and mix in graduating amounts of the directions, finishing of with just the pure colour on the ends. Mix with each toothbrush each little section and start with the lightest in the middle then the darker ones lower down. It's messy and you'll need a friend but it looks good.
If you go swimming you really want to use a fixer to stop it making a mess of the pool.

Ammi 07-09-2015 05:33 AM

..see if you do go for one colour then I like this, fade and blend it in to that colour rather than a straight and severe line...
