I think James is slightly attracted to her just because he's so used to women worshipping him, and she's probably the first woman he's met that does'nt treat him like a piece of meat.

Whatever at present she has the best of it.He did do good in not losing it when she was so rude to him but to me it comes across as her playing him big time as she ponders what best use to make of him RE her chance of winning.
