we had every legal right to kill them.

Britain has bombed Syria before despite not having Parliamentary authorisation because we were (and are) committed to an alliance with the USA and others.

The whole point of it being secret is to not cause widespread panic, and not to alert the people who want to attack the UK. Telling UK civilians every little attack that will happen will cause a lot of unnecessary panic. The government has a good track record of preventing UK attacks, so I trust them to carry on the way they do.

The govt will say owt to justify their actions, if there was a terror plot does anyone really think it would be foiled with the death of two brits? :/

Good stuff.Hearing this is good as it gives us confidence that our security services and secret services are doing a good job protecting us.However i think alot of this should stay secret so people like Harman don't start using it to play politics against the government.
These targets were obviously tracked for some time and an opportunity to hit them arose.The RAF should be free to conduct these kind of missions to protect us without it turning into a national debate.This is what MI5 is here for and we should let them get on with it.
