hmm the only thing I could think is that after Jase is evicted there's no real strong division for a large portion of the game, I think that affects it from final 10 onwards (Although IMO I still find it perfectly watchable I still imagine it'd bore some people.) It has other great elements though, a likeable villain in Jase, a diary room king/queen in Marvin and Karen, a rootable underdog in Diane, a showmance that's ACTUALLY likeable in Diane and Drew, pretty much the correct first boot in Mike, the original backdoor plan from Nakomis (or was it Marvin? I read that he came up with it... although tbh it probably gets too much praise as it's such an obvious move when you can pick veto players :joker:)

I loved last year - had a great cast IMO and on the whole the Battle of the Block twist worked in driving the series (unlike this year where it killed it).

No wayyyyy, BotB totally killed last year and made it so predictable and boring for a majority alliance just to demolish through the rest of the house. Plus the fact the competitions eat away at airtime where we could actually be getting to know the houseguests/seeing any entertaining moments. I was elated that BotB ended earlier this year.
