:suspect:

Calderyon 20-09-2015 09:06 PM

No. Only one in my family. I´ve been extremely lucky.

Jessica. 20-09-2015 09:24 PM

No, I'm not a four eyes.

Lostie! 20-09-2015 09:25 PM

Yes, I have astigmatism. That said, while I wore them all the time when I was younger, I just don't nowadays, but when I start learning to drive I'll have to start wearing some again for that.

Ross. 20-09-2015 09:26 PM

No I don't but a lot of my family do have them for reading etc

smudgie 20-09-2015 09:30 PM

Yes, I sit here with three pairs, one for reading, one for the Internet and one for the telly, hence it taking me so long to post on reality shows.:joker::joker:
Chopping and changing the beggars all the time, blind as a bat without them.

Yes I have an awful lot of trouble seeing things from a distance. I wear my glasses all the time I have that bad eye sight. I can't really see anything what's further away than my arm.

I want laser eye surgery or contacts but my mum doesn't trust me with contacts and thinks I would leave them in for bed by accident

MTVN 20-09-2015 10:04 PM

Yeah I wear contacts, my eyesight is god awful without them

My friends mum has let her wear them since year six and she's fine but I always get disgusted when she takes them out and puts them back into the sanitiser so they don't get infected.

She got an eye infection though back in last September/October and she had to wear glasses for about a month because the contacts were irritating her eyes

Kizzy 20-09-2015 11:49 PM

Yr6?... wow that's a bit young :/

Yeah my mum said so at the time as well but in fairness she's never gone to sleep in them or lost them or been irresponsible with them. The infection wasn't even to do with the contacts she just couldn't wear them because they were hurting them even more.

I reckon if I got them I'd probably end up falling asleep in them after like having them for a week or something. It's probably just habit for her now to take them out though before bed

Contacts restrict the amount of oxygen to your eyes so can leave them very dry and irritable, wearing everyday for school is not wise :/
I abused the privilege so many times, I can only wear daily disposables now for 5-6 hrs tops :(
