I'm glad James is not friends with Austin anymore

Austin just expects him to agree about everything he says like a good little sheep.

rubymoo 21-09-2015 06:54 AM

James is very clever, here's my take on what's happening, James chose Janice to save for Chloe, he chose Janice because he's watched CBB and seen how Gary Busey was treated by the HM's, he saw parallels and decided at that point to side up with Janice thus showing his 'hero' side therefore this action will get more votes, he will also appear generous to the X Factor fans by saying he did it for Chloe this will also get him the X Factor votes when Chloe and Stevi leave, he knows the public won't like Austins attiude so by going against him will also win him more votes, i think it was very telling what Jenna said last night, she basically told Austin to not take anything that James is doing to heart, and reminded him as to what James had said about them (James and Austin) not knowing each other, Jenna is also clever and can see what James is doing, James and Austin do get along but remember this is a game, James is in it to win it and James was also on the apprentice which is a cut throat, step on anyone to get to the top show, i genuinely believe there is friendship there, but James has to do what he set out to do and that's to become the winner of CBB.

i'm glad austin saw james' true colors now. james is a two faced, un-loyal, baskstabber, and patronizing scumbag. he think he is so high and almighty, but he has shown he has no morals and no backbone. he is a total bull****ter. james uses people and throw them away afterwards.

Spot on. There is no other real reason that James would have saved Janice over Bobby imo. Austin can be a dick but atleast he's upfront and not a sneaky snake like James

Black Dagger 21-09-2015 08:58 AM

He's played it to perfection tbf, he's actually very clever it seems.

That's true I guess, it is good game playing but I'm not a fan of using people the way he has to win his game

I donīt think he ever was to be honest. I think he was just using Austin to get further.

I agree

I'm sure Austin is also glad he's not friends with somebody who isn't genuine.

I think that it may be some are overthinking James stance on this.

They were taken into that room at a moments notice and told to choose who to save.

They had no inkling of the result and no time to reason it out. We sit here and can think around the problems and come up with an answer which may or may not be the case, but to instantly be put on the spot may give a knee jerk reaction totally different.

I find that a lot of other things attributed to the housemates are the case of being overthought, we have the forums and media informing our opinions, they only have their own awareness and thought processes.

Even on here there are differing opinions after seeing the same TV show and discussions.

That is why I think not to be so sure about anything may be the way to be, apart from Farrah who sparked the same resentment from thousands and showed the best way to get evicted even with the help from BB and vote to save.

I hope after last night it is Austin not friends with James.
James came across as a user last night and his irrational and unbelievable new found loyalty to Janice is nauseating.

Janice was a disgrace over the letter, no need to throw it on the floor at Austin's feet, even if Austin had invited some negative response from her, she showed total ignorance and massive disrespect for the person who had actually done the letter to Austin, which in my view showed the horrible person she likely really is.

James said nothing as to that, in fact he said virtually nothing negative about or to Janice at all, no wonder Austin and Jenna got at James.
I am disappointed I ever liked James now.

James would be just about the last choice I would look for in a friend after last nights fiasco.

erinp5 21-09-2015 01:57 PM

11.16am: Austin to James: "I hate you and I'm not hugging you back, just so you know." #BBUKLive http://t.co/5oILZBIU5S

1.23pm: Austin, James, Jenna and Natasha are talking about Christmas. It's not that time yet, surely?!

2.04pm: James and Austin have gone for a swim. Do they never get cold?

Jamie89 21-09-2015 02:32 PM

I don't think james ever considered them to be friends anyway tbh.

Btw, does anyone know what their sleeping arrangements were after they supposedly stopped being friends? It seems strange to me the highlights didn't show whether or not austin and james shared a bed like they usually do

Daniel. 21-09-2015 02:38 PM

Or maybe instead of being a snake or whatever, he just saw how Austin treated people and didn't like it? Pretty logical reason, also him playing a game doesn't make sense as Austin was voted top four whilst Janice has been booed and wasn't voted top four. Let's not forget James offered Austin a hug and said he understands why he's upset when Austin turned round and asked him if he still liked Janice because he dared to be rude to Austin, hence walking out the room.

Yeah, shockingly enough, people can change their opinions and James really is a nice guy!

armand.kay 21-09-2015 02:40 PM

But guess who's seen Austin's vile character from day 1

rusticgal 21-09-2015 02:42 PM

Well I am liking James.....Austin is a needy demanding and selfish idiot. He criticises James for being disloyal....yet he never defended James when Jenna started putting ideas in his head.
Janice may be dramatic...but she never deserved that vitriol from Austin. His behaviour was unacceptable...

I think it's right to a degree that James is being the 'hero' but where I disagree is that I don't think it's an intentional ploy, its more a slightly old fashioned and rather charming moral code he's been raised with. I know he speaks about his grandfather, I wonder if he was raised by his grandparents.

Vanessa 21-09-2015 03:56 PM

Looks like I spoke too soon. Lol They appear to be on speaking terms again.

He was (as said on the Apprentice.)

Their fall-outs never seem to be massive anyway. Just a disagreement and them yelling at each other and then they're fine the next morning. Rinse and repeat.

They remind me of an old married couple tbh.

Same. :hee:

I had him down as a bad egg ever since he made a comment on the first night's live feed about how he'd "make rumbling noises" if Gemma Collins walked down the stairs.
