Are the other Housemates scared to side against him?

I mean no way do any of them Housemates agree with James backstabbing his friend really, so do you think it's more the fact that they're scared of taking on the James supporters? Or that they hate Austin so badly that they're relishing in James's betrayal?

Poll will be coming shortly.

Lostie! 21-09-2015 10:51 PM

I think the only ones genuinely up in arms about it are Austin and Jenna.

Visage 21-09-2015 10:53 PM

We don't know how long Austin has been carrying, it may have reached a point where a few of them can no longer take any of his outbursts.

Daniel. 21-09-2015 10:53 PM

No because he didn't backstab anyone

Liam- 21-09-2015 10:53 PM

Or maybe they do just agree with James and his decision, it's not really that hard to believe

None of them really agreed with Janice giving up the task and then showing the massive disrespect she did to Austins letter and the person who sent him it, by throwing on the floor at his feet.

Yet not a word.

I don't know about being scared as to James and his support but it seems the worst and most devious people get the rewards this series.

And rightly so imo.

Stevi's face said it all that James shouldn't have nominated Austin, and to a lesser extent Jenna as they're allies.

Jordan. 21-09-2015 10:54 PM

They're scared to say anything negative in general. Austin and Jenna do it all and take the flack for it so they don't have to.

No offence Daniel but I'm sure that if it was the other way around I'm sure that you and loud mouths Natasha and Bobby would be calling Austin every name under the sun.

As much as I detest him, Austin being annoyed makes sense. Jenna, on the other hand, has no right to be offended and preaching about loyalty whatsoever. She nominated him before he ever nominated her.

And none of those poll options reflect my stance on it.

rusticgal 21-09-2015 11:02 PM

They are not scared of James...maybe surprised by his nomination but they should respect him for his honesty. James talks a lot of sense and has never lost his temper...instead of being a hypocrite he stood up for what he thought was right...and Austins behaviour was appalling.
Austin would have done the same to James had he given him any reason to.

Um no I wouldn't because Austin was one of my favourites until yesterday where I went off him for how he's acting, as James, Natasha and Bobby did. :)

LukeB 21-09-2015 11:03 PM

Austin is only pissed off that James likes Janice. he doesn't want anyone to like Janice that's why he moans about it. James didn't do anything wrong just got fed up with Austin's behaviour.

bots 21-09-2015 11:10 PM

its a game show, and there isn't a single one of them in that house behaving normally and not treating it like an event for the cameras. None of them are behaving as they would in real life so normal rules of life just don't apply

Not everyone has to shout and scream, disrespect peoples families and call them c.u.next tuesday to get their point across. You can't justify Austen's dreadful behaviour by implying we'd all act that way. We don' t.

Normal rules of appropriate behavior ALWAYS apply.

Where in that post did I say that we'd call Janice a ****?

I mean as much as I disliked Danny in BB16, the one thing that I'll give him credit for was that he was loyal and would wait awhile before nominating any of his friends/allies in case he could mend things over with them, clearly something that James hasn't learned.

And as I've said on another thread how come it's okay for James to backstab Austin but it's not okay for Dappy to backstab Luisa, or Ashleigh to backstab Christopher? This question is directed at everybody.

Pink Pegasus 22-09-2015 12:07 AM

I agree with you that there are definitely housemates there that really don't agree with James nominating Austin. Some extremely shocked looking faces when that nom was revealed! Also Sherrie saying at the table that it was very weird and would be as bad as her nominating Natasha to which I think Natasha nodded her head in agreement.

I don't know though if it's because of any of the reasons in the poll. I think they just don't want to get involved in the row and want to stay out of the James/Austin betrayal thing. Maybe it's because it's so close to the final or maybe because some of them just tend to avoid getting involved in rows most of the time anyways unless it involves them directly.

Bobby and Jenna seemed to be the only main ones who gave their opinions on the matter, even though they had very differing views on it.

Ridiculous options.

They have sided with James because Austin has acted horrifically for the past 10 days. That's it. They are not scared of James, and they do not dislike Austin.

In fact, I'm pretty sure they LIKE Austin, it's this week that has been the problem. Austin had only got 3 noms in total before this week, to get 4 in one day when there's less people proves he has been acting viciously. So, the noms I really think were ALL due to his behaviour, but not for him as a person.

Former series of BB I haven't watched are completely irrelevant.

Fair enough if you haven't watched them but they are relevant to the discussion because these exact same people that are siding with James here attacked at least one of those two Housemates when they did it and they can't do that as it's blatantly hypocritical.

Not me.

Beso 22-09-2015 02:53 AM

Not a fair poll so am no playing.

Stormy 22-09-2015 02:57 AM

No they're not scared of him at all...they just have a sense of decency which is sorely lacking in Jenna and Austin right now.
