Voting system at fault
 

BB and CBB have 2 different systems. BB have the VTE and CBB has the VTS, why ???????? because the prods want to run the CBB their way.

VTE is pretty straight forward, we get to vote off the idiots we hate and those that show us no value, but this scenario usually isn't that reliable because hardly anyone votes to evict a bore.

VTS is a mess because it allows the dumed down in our society to save the nasties because they want the show to disintegrate into a Jeremy Kyle type of show and we end up with people like Austin still in the house and people like Scoop in the studio.

By the way I like neither of them but this VTS is killing the show. Through the show the shell suit brigade will vote for the Farrahs and Austins of the world because it makes their day, but come the final, they wont vote them to win because the shows over. This is why Austin wont win and people like Natasha will be very close.

The prods have killed the show by manipulating the voting scenario and all this face to face, VTS, VTE and inane twists are not making them look good, its killing the show.

When you mess with an established cake recipe, you end up with something that generally tastes weird to some and great to others. I liked the old BB vote to evict and no twists with no face to face and a bit of mystery to the show with interesting tasks and a load of food and sleep depravation. That is a tried and tested formula that works but even though its old, it worked.

To prove my point, ask yourself this, if Im a celeb was to get rid of Ant and Dec and put someone like Rylan in, then made the eating and tasks more disgusting than they are now, how long would it survive.......exactly, it wouldn't. BB has a weak interviewer, who is lovely but not that good and their spin off is a disgrace with Rylan at the helm. If something aint broke, why fix it.

VTS on CBB so celebrities don't get butthurt, and VTE on BB I guess to get more money? It's pure business on their part, I don't think the audience matters to them as long as they're getting an audience.

I never vote when its VTS it leaves me feeling that I am being mugged off I am not even sure why but I feel VTE was and is the best format.

Sorr I disgree, I would like vote to save in all series, it is the only vote that allows genuine supporters of housemates to have their say all through the series in the main.

In weeks when there are only 2 or 3 up for eviction then that is virutally vote to evict anyway.
Vote to evict now allows people who hate a housemate to roganise with even people who do not watch BB,to vote them out, something that is far harder to do with vote tosave and 4 or more housemates up.

So no thank you from me to vote to evict.

Proportional representation is what we need rather than first past the post :hehe:

Controversial opinions but I like vte with civilian and vts with celebs

The civilian series, to me, is rewarding a person with a huge sum of money so getting rid of those you don't want winning it make sense to me. The least hated should win.
All the celebs already have their money, voting in the ones you want to see longer makes sense for me. The most loved should win.

I see it as two completely different shows so different rules could and should apply. I miss normal noms too though and I agree with you on getting the **** rid of Rylan but we all have the choice of not watching it at all so we're just as stupid as they are!

I infinitely prefer VTS, it's not perfect by any means but it increases the likelihood of the big characters staying longer than they would otherwise. I think there's much bigger problems with BB than the voting system, just one of many being as you said - Rylan. I don't actually mind him but he's not very 'professional'/it will never be taken seriously with a joke xf act hosting the show.
