A question for people who have PS4
 

Should I get one?

So i'm an Xbox gal, but I want Until Dawn so bad. Is it worth it? Opinions pls

I lost interest in video games when I was about 20 :worry:

The exclusives that will inevitably start pouring in will be worth it!

For me it is. It's not perfect by any means with my biggest problem really being the online service. Sometimes I get a bit irritated at how they charge us to play multiplayer now (PS+/£40 a year) when there's still basic features missing from the network!! There's a lot of really promising exclusive games slowly starting to come out now though and it's really taking off, the PS4 seems to be way ahead in console sales compared to other platforms. I'm not quite sure why that is as I don't know anything about the XB1 or WiiU's features but I'm sure you could find a comparison article online somewhere. :laugh:

I wouldn't go for one or the other purely for one game though, if you're gonna get a next gen console it's best to go for the one that you prefer on the whole taking everything into account. The PS4 would certainly be the 'popular choice' though.

Plus we have usual downtime.

It's a generic answer, but it really comes down to if there are games on it that you want to play. If there is, definitely.

If you've missed the Uncharted series the HD collection of the first three games is coming out soon and well worth buying. Last of Us too. For current gen games there'll be comprehensive lists a google away.

I voted no because I don't ever use mine. If you play video games a lot I guess go for it.

Haven't played the xbox one but after owning both the ps3 and xbox 360 i was always in love with Playstation so stuck with that when next gen came out.. definitely feels like it was the better decision after reading reviews and other peoples opinions. Having friends on the same console is a massive factor too.

I was led to believe ps4 was much better in pretty much every aspect but all my mates have xbone and beg to differ (but they're probably just saying that)

I went from ps2 to being an Xbox fanboy but got the ps4 instead of the xbone. I miss Xbox tbh and sort of want one now but it's really just down to personal preference and the games you like tbh

And what drew said, it really does help if you have the same console as all your friends

Worth every penny, even if you don't play many games (I only play 2 games, but Netflix, the internet, and plenty of other apps make it worthwhile).

They are quite cheap these days as well, can get some for £300 with a game or two included.

Tbh I don't use mine that often but when I do it's usually to play PS4 exclusives like Beyond, Last of Us, Until Dawn etc and I love them all :love:

I was an Xbox girl too, but I have my own PS4 and honestly don't miss my Xbox much at all, I am a casual gamer though.

Honestly the only thing I personally prefere on Xbox is the gamer scores.

On a side note: Until Dawn and The Last Of Us are AMAZING!
