When Is The Best Time To Go Theme Parks

When do you think is the best time to go Theme Parks?

I think September/October it may be cold but It's not that packed as it is during The summer.

September, preferably on a school day.

Never, stay at home and read a book, much safer and a hell of a lot cheaper

Thank you, I have lived this long through following that rule, so I fully stand by it.

I'd say during school time but you also run the risk of school trips :worry:

school trips to Alton Towers happen in May/June time, not at the beginning of the school year because that's too early.

Drayton Manor is cheap

I'd say a weekday around mid-September. It's not cold yet - still quite decent weather and the riff-raffs would've started school by then.

I also think around April is good - on a school day though. Not during the Easter Holidays.

I love going theme parks when it's cold :worry:

Mitchell 27-09-2015 07:42 PM

Weekdays in mid september

Although I reckon this summer was a good time to be at any Merlin theme park...

Jason. 27-09-2015 07:44 PM

I went to Thorpe Park in mid-June about 3 years ago when I was in uni and it wasn't that packed at all. Although that was a gloomy day iirc. I think exam season was then for people at school, so we only waited about 20 minutes for the rides.

So sometimes early-mid June on a weekday is good too.

I want to go Thorpe Park :worry: never been

I've been there so many times.

If you're a fan of theme parks, you should definitely visit some time. It's fun. It has rides for everybody and some really good ones like Stealth and The Swarm

Yeah i get a big thrill off rollercoasters that's why i refuse to go with people who hate them

Mitchell 27-09-2015 07:53 PM

I did Thorpe Park this year, was good and wasn't packed at all, loads of rides were shut and kept shutting however, so I wrote to Thorpe Park as I wasted a good hour or two queuing for rides to get turned away because it had broken down, not a fault of their own I know, but they've offered me a return trip for £10 with 3 fast passes, my family all got Legoland tickets

LukeB 27-09-2015 07:54 PM

tho i am a persuasive person and they always give in and go on them and they end up liking them.

Don´t like theme parks, because my stomach doesn´t like heights or too much movement. Have visited once and been in the machines, but not after that.

Didn´t vomit though.
