Grande Fratello is back (Italian BB)

The 14th series has started on Thursday. One BB ends, another starts. It will most likely be on air until March time!

It's a shame that a lot of people wouldn't be able to watch it due to the language. Not sure if there is anywhere online where you can see it with subtitles! It's so great, I'm lucky I speak Italian.

Here is the website:

Does she watch it?

I'm straight but I can assume you'll like a couple of the men in there! :p Fit women too. It's usually more "beautifully casted" than BBUK. The thing is over there, the good looking people over there are very entertaining. Here there is a stigma that a lot of good looking girls and guys are very dull. Over there, you get some young but explosive characters. The Makosi types and all.

I wanted to see if this was on when i went there but the only channels and things you could watch in the daytime seemed to be shopping channels

When were you there? It only started on Thursday and it's on Canale 5 (Channel 5). They do evictions/finals/launches on Thusdays and they usually last like 4 hours. Starting at 8:20pm and going on until past midnight.

There's no proper HL show, well, there is, but it's like 20ish mins per day at around 5pm UK time (6pm Italian time), but most of the footage is shown on the Thursday where they show the HMs about the events unfolding in the house, presenter speaks to them, cue lots of rows. Then there are the shopping tasks on the Thursday, the eviction, the interview, nominations and surprises (good ones or twists).

So 4 hours seem very long in theory but it's non stop with lots of things going on.

Don't know what channels you were on with shopping always on. Good to still to the standard Rai 1-3 (mostly dramas) Rete 4 (but that's sort of an old skewing channel, an older version of BBC), and Canale 5 and Italia 1 (Channel6) are the young skewing ones where they do reality shows, teen shows/quiz shows etc...

it was way back in july, i was just curious lmao
rai 1-4 were okay but the other ones were literally legitimate channels but at around 2pm (when we got there) it was basically just shopping channels

Would watch it if it was in subtitles or if i spoke Italian. Or if i learned Italian. Or if the live stream was free.

Sadly that´s not going happen.

Unfortunately I don't know Italian (but a few words with similarity to Spanish)...

Yesterday I watched Reality, the film from 2012 about an Italian man trying to get into the GF house. It's not about BB more than it's about the psychological process surrounding it. I recommend (and generally it's always nice to take a glimpse of a different BB house from the production/camera runs' point of view).

Ah it's a shame you can't enjoy it.

Wish they had subtitles for you all. Sometimes I don't get some of what they are saying because they are SO Italian. I'm Sicilian, so I prefer when there is a rough Sicilian there because I understand everything. With some Italian contestants, some words they say and the accent they use, is sometimes hard to understand.

The third transgender in the series has entered, and she is a favourite (shock, not), but the previous two had the same initial response, but don't think they came across well towards the end. All bar one is Italian, one is from Ukraine living in Italy and seeing online reaction, he is immensely disliked due to his treatment of the transgender (I haven't watched those clips yet).

Right now, here is the story.

They are playing as COUPLES (not real life couples but BB put them together) There are 16 in total, but 8 couples. I don't know if they will play as couples as a whole or not. Don't think they will because usually GF lasts for over 4 months nowadays so they can't only have 8 couples. they will probably chuck in another at least 6 new HMs along the way.

14 of the HMs are in the main house, and one of the couples is in the garage. To create conflict they have kept them in there with them unaware (and the house unaware) that one of the person in the garage has their ex partner in the house. When they return and the ex partner sees that the couple are close (because they have already kissed in the garage), will be good TV.

He was annoying, **** and dreadful, one of the worst houseguests ever. Still baffles me how unpopular despite the fact he had his even more annoying sisters fans voting for him but couldn't even make top 3 on Americas choice

Yeah true that his sisters supporters would be voting for him, maybe they didn't want to because how bad he was.

I actually don't mind Adriana. Not a fan of the music, but she seems like a good egg.

Calderyon 04-10-2015 07:05 AM

Ariana Grande. Although Adriana sounds better.

*mazedsalv** 10-10-2015 12:32 PM

Woops!

But anyway, wish you guys could watch, you're missing a good one. Yes, there is a lot of drama with the triangle and other problems, but the first 2 weeks has been one of the most fun I have seen in a while in GF. A lot of positivity really.
