:pat:
Why's this still around :pat:?
All I've ever seen it use for has been to either patronise or bait or both. I know a proper debate's good now and again etc etc but when someone brings out this smiley you know it's become less of a debate and more of a crap-hurling contest competed in by people who can't argue a case to save their life. It just seems really condescending and makes everything seem quite personal (I haven't seen as much of this recently but when it's bad, it can be really bad. Like, there's a reason some people have requested to put particular sub-forums on ignore) I've never seen it used constructively and I don't really get why there's a smiley that encourages more nastiness in a place that really needs all the peace and calm and love and general Patsy Kensit-y vibes that it can get? Maybe that's just me idk. |
i agree
that little red guy looks so sad |

I only ever see it used during on-season in the BB section tbh, and rightly so
It's only a smiley, and it's a good one at that :cheer2: |

I used to like it but I've grown to harbour an intense disliking for it, axe it asap

in terms of baiting and trolling  and :cheer2: are the big guns that are pulled out during onseason, poor :pat: is a mere bystander compared to the other two :nono:
