This is why I don't really agree with bombing them. We should never have taken our troops away. I truly feel for all those innocent people who are going through hell right now.

Me too.

Far too many 'errors', and far too many innocent civilians killed as a result of them.

It's very sad, a terrible mistake. However, I do not want to see our troops back there.

Not just because of the obvious... our army is being dismantled bit by bit. Regiments have amalgamated, personnel have been axed, they don't have the kind of equipment they need. Some of the troops in Afghanistan received their redundancy notices while they were still in a war zone. Pretty soon we'll have a smaller standing army than we had in the 1930s. We can't expect them to be able to do the job they are meant to do while the government are stripping them down to the bone.

Under that note, I totally agree. Jesus, I didn't realise our army was so small... I thought we had a good advantage. I don't agree with all these cuts to the army at all. It's scary to think we're being left with such a small army.

When I say 'send our troops in' I never, ever would wish to send them in on their own. It needs to be a world effort to get rid of these terrorists. Not just the UK.

JoshBB 03-10-2015 03:43 PM

The army cuts are just another immoral and dangerous aspect of austerity

It is a disgrace. We have ample money to throw away in lots of other areas. A disgrace.

They carried on bombing for a full 30 minutes after they were called, not sure how this can be called "an error"

(that's why I used quotation marks)

It's very worrying isnt it. This is why I'm opposed to airstrikes in principle.. waayyy too much room for things like this to happen.

What the feck is wrong with BBC News
its not a Suspected attack.
Only USA Bombers fly there
no one else.

All USA News
and our SkyNews has reported it as Fact
they bombed their own Hospital.

They must have a system
that if a Terrorist runs in there
they do not Bomb all of the others (International Medical Team)
and do it by the ground

How Fecking Stupid are this USA Bomber Division

I wonder who they were going after, must have been someone really important is this was acceptable collateral damage.

Or was this some kind of manipulated intelligence by the enemy, they might have been a double agent who we thought was giving us good intelligence as to where a high value target would be, but it turns out to be a hospital. The enemy is known to play these kind of games, in which case the enemy is responsible for this disaster.

It's not unheard of for the taliban/AQ to send operatives to pretend to be informants, but actually are trying to mislead the US and NATO in order to cause more civilian casualties. It's part of their propaganda war.

Can imagine the headlines and the outrage in Washington if this was Russian forces in Syria..

afghanistan is a tribe land and will never have a stable government, because people their have a different way of thinking, they will only go with the tribe system, because to them thats their government, yes it is out of date in today's world, but to them its modern, america needs to ditch its war thinking, because it will not make it rich,
