Driver lost control of the wheel.

arista 03-10-2015 10:37 PM

there was one in Brighton
the Driver went blank
and fell on the controls
ramming the next Bus.

Cherie 04-10-2015 10:22 PM

From Ch5HD News
the Driver is 77 years old

I am not anti old working
but I am Anti over 70 year olds
driving Double Decker Buses.

He used his Horn to warn people
but he first clipped another Bus
then went off
so "Brakes Failed"
or he panicked and used wrong controls

I think 77 is too old to be driving a double decker, feel sorry for him, his life will be in bits

smudgie 05-10-2015 08:18 PM

Driving a bus at 77 is a disgrace, hoping the company get a good fine.
What the hell are people thinking of employing people so old when lives are put at risky?

Yes sooner or later they will have to tell
us its the bus or the driver at fault

Creggle 05-10-2015 11:39 PM

Not to detract from the other victims, but a little 8 year old boy losing his life is ****ing horrendous. Lost count of how many times I've been on a bus around here and the driver is going at a ridiculous speed, I can't even count on both hands how many times they've clipped or shunted parked vehicles on the smaller roads. It's always Stagecoach too and I doubt it's isolated within Coventry, this should be a wake up call to Stagecoach but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

arista 06-10-2015 07:06 AM

Yes it may be Stagecoach , more
but i have seen other buses clip things
and carry on.

I am shocked this 77 year old was on contract
