Ham sandwich with brown bread
I made a thread about this in like 2010, my answer depends on the filling.
Brown or 50/50. White is basic.

Both, but prefer white if unsliced and crusty.

Sometimes the farmfoods round here has it but lately they've stocked in an Irish version instead which is bigger and more square but for me the crusts aren't anywhere near as tasty. |
I've started using white since moving out you have to walk down the entire aisle in Asda to get the brown and I just cba.
Brown Bread.
White tastes too doughy. |
I think they taste the same?
But I use white more so
Varies, but always fresh baked from the bakery counter.
Mainly seeded brown of sorts. Don't mind White if I am baking buns and have sun dried tomatoe and/or cheese thrown in the mix. |
depends on who I'm eating it with
Brown bread, I haven't eaten white bread for years.
Brown bread and seeded bread, there is no goodness in white bread, it's stripped of all it's nutrients.
