Halloween night -monster in your home - shoot or scoot?
OK - So it's Halloween, and you return home on your own to an empty house because all your friends/flatmates/relatives are away. It's 3 am and your in bed, a noise wakes you - it's the stairs creaking as someone climbs them quietly. You switch on the bedside lamp and you take out the loaded gun that you keep in the drawer of your bedside cabinet.
The creaking outside your bedroom is now immediately outside your bedroom door. Do you flee gun in hand out of the bedroom window and down the fire escape stairway? Or do you stay with the gun trained on the door? If you stay, and the door is suddenly flung open and some THING - a zombie or someone dressed in a costume - races into your bedroom towards you screaming, would you fire the gun or then try to flee? Is it some real Zombie? Is it a burglar/killer dressed up for Hallowwen? Is it one of your relatives/mates playing a prank? Do you care? And would you just shoot first and worry later? What would you do? Scoot or Shoot? |
I'm gonna get tired from all the shanking

I would wait for the door to open, presumably if it was someone playing a prank they would un mask as soon as they saw a gun pointed at them
climb out the window and tell my neighbour that there's a monster in my house.
I'd scream bloody murder and wait for the thing to either start laughing hysterically, take my money, or eat my face.
I would be out of the bed and hiding in the wardrobe at the first creak on the stairs tbh
..I'm squeezing in next to Josy in the wardrobe...and if the door is opened, I'm right behind her and leaving it up to her to sort it out...
