Big Brother: Shilpa, you mentioned you were not happy 2 days ago, BB noticed that you had a conversation with Cleo in the bedroom following an argument with Jade. You implied that you thought the differences between the two of you could be racially motivated?

Shilpa: No actually I take that back. I thought it was cos everybody was having an arguement with me and I take that back. I don't think that is true, you know people say things in a fit of anger and erm, I stand corrected so, I don't want people to think and feel that way and I continue to feel that way. So even if I said it I would like you to please clarify and put this as a statement from my side if you can. That I don't feel there was any racial discrimination happening from Jade's end. Erm, I don't think that is true. That's it. I think that there are a lot of insecurities from her end but it's definitely not racial. So yeah, that's the way I feel.

I think she'll change her opinion when she comes out the house and see all the footage of what she has been called and whats been said about her

She hasn't heard EVERYTHING they have said behind her back , which triggered the complaints in the first place.

Shilpa would do everything in her power to save Jade from herself.

Shilpas a good girl, and shes proving it more with every day.

We'll just have to wait & see, though it is true, she hasn't heard 50% of the comments that the trio have made. But, she could stand by her view, which is the comments that are being dropped, aren't racially motivated.

Good to finally see Shilpa's take on this when she's asked directly about the racism issue. Hopefully this will help to diffuse the situation to some degree at least.

Maybe Shilpa's grace and decency will rub off on some of the more extremist and radical people out there who are calling for violence against the housemates or calling for BB to be cancelled.

I have nothing but admiration for this amazingly tolerant and dignified woman.She is winning huge popularity in her own right, and not just from a sympathy vote.

Obvious she would think that cause she cant see the backstabbing...

the "overt" comments are not what has been complained about for the most part

Its the stuff we have seen and heard that Shilpa is not privvy too, even though she is the target

By far the strongest, most dignified and well mannered housemate i've seen from regular bb to cbb.

I think BB should tell her whats shes been called and ask her then to form an opinion then. If she doesn't know what she has been labelled by other housemates how can she judge to form an opinion.

BB are trying to be sly, in saying we asked Shilpa if she feels its racially motivated. Exactly what are they asking if its racially motivated? One arguement wth Jade? Bring up the quotes said by the others and let see then what she has to say

Cleo comes across as very reasonable so Cleo was able to change Shilpa's mind telling her that no one in the house was racist. This may have affected Shilpa's diaryroom discussion.

no dount "muppet hshow" davia will highlight this moment and ignore the rest when she come to interviewing her when sh ecomes out.

the moment shilpa finds out whats really been said behind her back, she will sue the asses of channel4!
