I collect knives which I have removed from my back over the years and put there by people who I helped and trusted. I have quite a collection from 'my salad days, when I was green in judgment'.

£2 coins, i'd never spend one unless I HAD to, idk why just started it a while ago and thought i'd carry on
and the 50ps that have different designs on the back like the Olympic ones |
Diaries that i have filled in since I was at uni. I also have a wee nursery rhyme book that i write in on the pages once or twice a year with a date and what is going on and have been doing that in that book since I was 7.
I tend to find and buy and sell things that people collect. I reap from the dead and sell to the living... |
I collect hares, Barbie dolls (my favourite, although not the most valuable, is Barbie & Ken as Mulder & Scully) and sweetheart brooches (military cap badges made into brooches for servicemen's sweethearts in WW1 & 2) although my collection is quite small at the moment.
|
I collect ex's. I'm getting pretty good at it too
Seriously tho I don't collect anything but when I was a kid I used to collect rocks and fossils and things like that. Whenever someone in the family went on holiday they'd bring me back a rock from that country. My aim was to have a little bit of each part of the world in my room. (But then I became a teenager and started collecting porn instead  ) My favourite thing I had was a fossilized sharks tooth. And I had a really nice white crystal type thing (I cant remember what it's called). But all of that stuff is in a box somewhere at my mums house now. Do you collect anything Ammi? |
I have started my Gnome collection, I only have 6 so far though :hee: I was never very good at collecting stuff (except teddies when I was a kid) I always got bored of it after a while

My most prized fossil was a huge ammonite which I found while holidaying at my aunt's in Bath as a kid. Do you know Liam, now you mention fossils, that I cannot even remember what I di with my collection - I just have no idea. As for ex's  Don't worry about it; It's all part of Life's rich tapestry.:laugh: |

A neighbour of mine in London, an elderly gent, had a gnome cricket match going on in his front garden complete with little umpire. It was actually really cute.

Now I have to reimagine you as secretly soft and oh so slightly little-girly vulnerable. :hehe: |

I love gnomes too, I think they're kitsch and fun. |
No, I used to collect unusual teapots then we moved and I gave them to charity as they just collected dust :fist: I have my kids exercise books, drawings, attempts at woodwork and pottery in plastic boxes in the garage and some toys like a wooden train track with Thomas the Tank wooden engines that cost a fortune 18 years ago :fist: other that that I am trying to minimalise rather than gather stuff ..sorry LT you will get nowt from me when I'm dead :idc:
|
Aw my mum has a few teapots she puts plants on the ones with no lids :)
