Anyone used GIMP?
 

I'll be reaching the end of my Photoshop free trial soon and I wondered if anyone had any experience with GIMP? I don't really use this stuff much (just if I need to make adjustments to a gif I've made really) so that's why using GIMP that's free appeals more than actually paying for Photoshop when I might not be using it all that regularly.

Yeah I've used it a couple of times and it's quite easy to grasp once you get the hang of it, I've never used photoshop so I can't compare the two but it's the best one I've used

Yeah GIMP's great, just as good as PS. Simple to use. I used to use it for my illustration work before I got PS from uni.

I presume it's entirely safe then? I'm always initially hesitant when it comes to trying out a new programme (especially a free one :laugh:).
