Does religion hate Science?

I'm pretty sure it does but what do you all think?

Jessica. 10-10-2015 09:52 PM

No.

Do I hate people who constantly bully religious people? Yes.

No it doesn't. There are plenty of people who love science who are also religious. You can believe in both. Surprisingly, everything isn't black and white in this world. Who'd have thought?

Kizzy 10-10-2015 10:02 PM

I agree that would be an ideal situation but it is the ability of the scientist to seperate religious belief from their work(scientific exploration) which makes a great scientist.Religion never hurt Newton or Einsteins work.

Personally, I don't know any religious people who hate science. Science isn't all about creationism, who said Christians couldn't enjoy a little bit of hydrolysis once in a while?

Daniel-X 11-10-2015 10:04 AM

No. Just no. Maybe some religionists do but the majority don't.

My RE teacher is married to a science teacher so... :fan:

Crimson Dynamo 11-10-2015 11:42 AM

It does not hate it it just would rather not think or learn about it as it does not make them feel good
