Is Len right to criticize lack of content in the routines ?

I think he is. I noticed that Georgia, Katie and Peter routines had an awful lot of posing and not much dancing. Compare it to Jay who was jam packed full of content and i get where he's coming from. Not the fault of the celebs, but the pros should create good choreography.
Thoughts ?

Yes I think he is, as it should be considered constructive critisism, so taken as such. Len and the others are there to judge the dances so need to let the dancers know their good and bad points. However, I think Len can be a bit forceful in getting his opinions across at times, not sure that that is the way it is meant to come across but I think he needs to tone down that agressiveness in his critique.

I loved Peter and Georgia interpetation of the dance, but there wasn't enough content for me. These two are more than capable of handling a routine, but their partners choreography is letting them down. Same for Katie.

Yes he is. The professionals sometimes let the celeb down In this aspect

He is the oldest
and flys to USA to do theirs,
So he is Over The Top

But some of the dances are style over substance. I want to see dancing, not posing.

Yes I Get You

Len's the only real ballroom dancer out of all the judges. They all look for different things. Len's right to criticise lack of content.

Mystic Mock 15-10-2015 12:47 AM

Why didn't Len criticise Helen for lacking content then? All she does is pose at the camera.

Should've told Jay to start dancing instead of kicking his foot like he's shaking a sh*t out of his trouser leg.

Xtopher 15-10-2015 12:50 AM

I miss Len. He needs to come back to Dancing With The Stars.

He is being unfair, the professional decides the content and the routine.

Len is annoying me with his comments this series, expecting way too much so early on in the series.

I accept no criticism of Jay after that dance.

Shaky fist? Lost your fan?

That jive was incredible! I'm still watching it and I can never get tired of it. That's a first for me. I never watch a Strictly routine more than once. But this is phenomenal.

Patricia4 16-10-2015 08:52 PM

That jive was fantastic I must of watched it about 10 times or more I tape them every week.

It was top class I agree, I don't usually like votes of 10 being given out so early in the series but frankly I was surprised only one judge gave him 10.

It was faultless all through really.
