STOP CHANNEL 4 GETTING TAX PAYERS MONIES

Eh hang on there a minute.

I would much rather my money goto channel 4 then the beeb. Whether it is racism or not shouldn't have anything to do with channel 4 as a whole. They produce quality shows and the beeb actually get most of the money anyway! And look at the drivel they put forward.

Do Channel 4 get tax payers money?

If they do, I'm with Tanser. Better going to Channel 4 than the BBC. Channel 4 have always been one of the most progressive and forward thinking TV channels, making programmes which create debate around racial issues, homosexual rights etc, etc.

I don't know if its racism but I just got this feeling that if Shlpa was a white british woman she would not be subjected to this.

According to a report on the BBC Shilpa was quoted as saying she didn't think it was racism. Just goes to show what Tessa Jowel knows. She is not inside the house and I bet she hasn't even watched the programme.

Personally I think it is bullying of the worse kind.

Ahh but today its been quoted that she called her a pappadom... if thats not racist I dont know what is!(RM:blush2:)

I kinda agree with that.Shilpa acts differently at times due to having a different culture and this is what's been picked on at times, making ignorant comments like calling her 'Shilpa Papadom' and 'Indian people are thin because they cannot cook properly'.

Loads of politicians are getting involved! :hugesmile:

The channel is owned by the government but doesn't get any state funding.

It's my favourite channel on TV, I think.

She has made many comments not all Official.
And is Out Of Order.

But Vaz MP New Labour
is even worse saying ch4 boss should consider his job.

It has Bugger all to do with MP's

Ch 4 have never made a better programme than BBCs Planet Earth, and we get Panorama's about whats really going on in the world.

BBC is best. No doubt.

I didn't know that. It wasn't on the radio or if it was I was to busy driving around fallen lorries and trees.
