It looks like a jelly mould.

JoshBB 24-10-2015 01:11 PM

but seriously if the government invested a few billion into building more hydrogen filling stations, leasing these cars as you said.. it would end our reliance on oil from the middleeast, and also do a lot for tackling climate change.

Again... we import only a fraction of our oil from the Middle East. Also production of hydrogen is not carbon-neutral.

Horrible.

arista 24-10-2015 01:37 PM

Japan gives 40% subsidy for the car
And USA 20%

UK
long way to go

bots 24-10-2015 02:12 PM

Also, hydrogen is extremely dangerous, i would want to see a lot more safety checks and a guarantee that idiots wouldn't abuse it - which will never happen

Novo 24-10-2015 02:16 PM

i'll stick to my bike

Northern Monkey 24-10-2015 02:23 PM

Yeah but how fast does it go?I need to see it go around the Top Gear track before i can make my decision.

Livia 24-10-2015 08:51 PM

Frankly I'd rather push a BMW than drive that thing.

Ammi 25-10-2015 05:24 AM

..how much do you reckon a full tank of hydrogen would cost then, Arista...?..

BMW make a good Hybrid Electric /Petrol car

But this new Honda range
is above that
as its clean

Other Styles of the Cars will come out
for people like you.

And its power can come from renewables

Kizzy 25-10-2015 11:36 AM

There's nothing wrong with it, the benefits of cleaner cars with better fuel economy would be enough I would've thought?

bots 25-10-2015 11:57 AM

The Hindenburg was clean and "safe" too

I would have thought there were many things in the mid 1930s that were not as well developed.

arista 25-10-2015 12:21 PM

"The Hindenburg was clean and "safe" too"

Yes Fools.

These Honda Cars have been Crashed
to see if any problems with the fuel tank.

It passed the tests

Yeah, we know everything now. No more mistakes left to make...

If they're going to make their cars appeal to the petrol-heads amongst up, offering a "green" car isn't enough. It's got to look good and it's got to perform. That car in the first post is ugly. More than that, it's fugly.

Kizzy 25-10-2015 01:42 PM

We don't know everything no... And not one person suggested we did.

Petrol heads, will one day be in the past.
Progression is scary for some and many automatically poo poo anything new as it goes against the norm.
It's happened with wind and solar power for homes, some just don't wish to be as reliant on fossil fuels and this will maybe cater for them?
