British TV Shows vs Amercian TV Shows
 

Which one do you prefer?

Both have some of the greatest TV shows ever made and some of the worst dross I've ever seen.

Pretty balanced at the mo.

I watch much more US TV than UK nowadays, so US.

Amercian because of Survivor,Desperate Housewives,New Girl,PLL,OUAT etc

At this moment of time most shows I watch are US based. It's only the soaps and reality shows I watch these days apart from the odd drama.

Most British shows are dead like x-factor,big brother,IAC and soaps

UK for panel shows, some comedies and reality TV (in general, only american reality I watch is Drag Race)

American for drama, sci-fi and drama/comedy/'dramedies'.

I find most British shows really boring tbh, they all seem to be about the same thing. I love American shows :love:

I love both but watch more US so that

Big Bang Theory >>> the rest

I've gone off TBBT. Season 9 has been so sh*te so far.

I watch waaay more American shows than UK now and the ones I do watch I can take or leave such as the soaps etc

but How I met Your Mother is the best sitcom since friends imo

Britain do Comedy at its best

As some one who has had only American TV as an option for most of my life, I'd say you Brits don't know how good you have it

When done properly British TV

Both of course have their merits

There are lots more sh1t american stuff

But look at our office and theirs

I love both

UK for 'event TV'

But US for drama/series shows>>>

Aside from the odd US drama I prefer UK tv on the whole but even so I still barely ever watch it these days anyway.

Same but only because I hate Leonard. If they killed him off a few seasons ago I'd probably still watch it.

Really hit and miss. The gov't we had for the last 10 years really gutted the industry within Canada while making it cheep and easy for the American industry to come up here and film
