If this is about what I think it's about? We call it Midterm over here

School holidays, we call it Mid Term Break

Yeah, our students don't get a break between terms.. University students midterm falls over Christmas, and highschool students go straight from first term exams to second in January

Yes and while we're on the subject,why does blinking Lorraine Kelly take a holiday everytime the kids are off school? she has no kids that are at school ?

No back in the day the kids were given 2 weeks off in Oct to lift the tatties out the fields

Now we have machines but the little bastards still get the holiday, its a disgrace
