The schoolboy died in hospital after being stabbed, according to reports

A schoolboy is believed to have died after being stabbed by another pupil at a school in Aberdeen today.
The pupil was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary by ambulance after police were called to Cults Academy around 1.30 this afternoon.
Another male has been detained and is now being questioned by officers over the incident.

omg. Did this happen this week because shouldnt they be off school for the October Bank Holiday?

It's a weird mix of well off and scummy; loads of really rich people live out in Cults (I wouldn't call it a suburb of Aberdeen tbh, it's not in the city) but a lot of that's down to the oil industry so you just have wealthier thugs, not some affluent nice part of town... this is such sad news, can't imagine how devastated his family must be.

No child deserves to go to school one morning and never come back. Truly awful.

I don't mean not so well off, I mean that there are a lot of well off people in that part of town but a lot of those people are scum of the earth - money can't buy class etc. So I'm not totally gobsmacked to hear this though obviously it's shocking that any child should be stabbed at school...
