London : Gay Cure Events from USA is going on
ITV1 London
Mike Fereer MP wants them Banned. They showed a Interview with a Freak Doctor who said everyone is welcome. They want to wash it Out Of You. Even The PM is against these Nutters |
How long does the cure last?
|
Shouldn't ever be legal. Pretty shocking this still happens. Even purely from a 'misleading sales and practice' POV let alone an ethical one.

Ignorance is everywhere, you'll never stamp it out ...if you try it just pops up somewhere else like a pustule on the face of the planet.

Ridiculous.I'm of the opinion now that it is either genetic or a mutation of some kind in the DNA which makes somebody gay.Alot of gay people have specific mannerisms which can be seen from childhood all through to adulthood and are'nt 'put on'.Yes some gay people don't have these and some put them on but alot just have them.It cannot be 'cured' imo as it is part of that person.I know some gay people wish they were'nt gay and this group is very cruel in giving those people false hope. Also it implies that homosexuality is some disease which is inacurate to say the least and can be quite insulting at worst.
|
Surely the only motivation for this is to earn a few swift bucks. That may well work in some weird and wonderful American states, but it won't work here, so i would imagine they will be gone in no time at all.
|
Every single church, mosque, and temple is a gay cure event. don't just attack a few quack programs from the US, attack the baseline ideology that says being gay is wrong that inspires these quack therapies.

'A 'gay cure' conference due to be held in London next week has been cancelled after more than 13,000 people signed a petition for it to be banned. But a similar event is going ahead today. The event - organised by Christian group Core Issues describes itself as "An interactive conference event exploring unwanted same-sex attractions" and runs at the Emmanuel Centre in Westminster until 6pm.' http://www.itv.com/news/london/2015-04-14/ss/ |
