If you could make one law...

..and it be enforced.../what..?..

Liam- 29-10-2015 01:27 PM

That nurses, policemen, firemen and ambulance drivers etc get paid more than celebrities.

LukeB 29-10-2015 01:30 PM

People who are in the army should get the wage of a footballer

joeysteele 29-10-2015 01:32 PM

That the sick, disabled and most vulnerable are always protected in law and that no entitlements and care once put in place for them can ever be altered, reduced or removed by anyone or any govt in power.

A law I think should already be in place anyway in any so called civilised and decent society.
Totally regardless of cost too.

Livia 29-10-2015 01:43 PM

I'm going to forgo my law and instead work to ensure Liam, Luke and Joey's laws are passed as quickly as possible.

Women shouldn't be allowed too pop out 20 kids just to stay on benefits

Killing (outside of the meat industry)/abusing an animal is the same jail sentence as killing/abusing a person.

JoshBB 29-10-2015 02:23 PM

That nobody can earn more than 20x the minimum wage. If you want to earn more money, pay the poor more.

Denver 29-10-2015 02:25 PM

People on more the £100,000 a week should pay at least a 50% tax

I agree with this but would include the abuse that happens in slaughter houses,I would make it law that there were CCTV in every abattoir, there would be no animals farmed in cages or chained,or experimented on,Anyone who purposely killed an animal or human would be given long sentences,(life for humans) with no parole, and have a tattoo on their forhead with details of what they had done.

Agree with the things bolded - the tattoo thing is a little human-rights-abusing though.

Online moderators thou shalt not ban Marsh.

Sorry, that's an eleventh commandment.

You're all very altruistic :flutter:

Mine would be that Rylan Clarke is banned from ever appearing on television again. Clearly a more pressing matter :fist:

What would yours be Ammi?

Crimson Dynamo 29-10-2015 03:14 PM

if a nurse scored 30 goals a season for Man u then she would get £200,000 a week

but no, they want to miss training and spend all week in a hospital?

It beggars belief

That all churches / halls open their doors in the evening for homeless people, and supply food and health resources.

A couple of churches in my area are falling to bits with holes in the roof.

If they can barely afford the upkeep on the buildings, where are they getting food and health resources from?

Denver 29-10-2015 03:33 PM

The government should spend money on the poor and homeless rather then give it to any country that asks for it

The food banks!

Get people on the dole to stick a bit of wood over the holes and there you go!

Johnnyuk123 29-10-2015 04:12 PM

Stop all those on benefits being given cold hard cash. Replace it with a weekly food parcel instead. This will stop them spending money on cigs, booze and drugs, it also will help save millions for the nhs, our doctors and nurses will no longer be beaten up by these drunken drug fuelled thugs at 3 am.:fist::fist::fist:

Yeah, because those on the dole are lazy bastards. Get them doing something.

Cal. 29-10-2015 04:30 PM

Don't churches leave their doors open at night for the homeless anyway?
