I don't think Halloween is that good of an excuse when Strcitly Come Dancing got 9.4M

The oldies stay in and shut their curtains

I am not surprised another fall on top of last years fall is in place to be honest.
I miss Louis Walsh and his crazy comments, the humour is gone from X Factor.

Last nights show was way too long,it is beyond belief that to hear only 14 songs in the whole show, 13 of those songs cut in their original running time too, that nearly 2 and a half hours was needed for 4 judges to feed their egos and ramble on most of the show.

Cheryl makes the show all about her, Simon has now ran out of things to say so we get things like I didn't like it, I loved it,Rita is a great artiste but as on the Voice she comes across as amateurish on here.
Nick, is a good DJ but all through X Factor he has been Mr personality dead.
Nothing from him at all.

I watched the X Factor after Strictly was finished but by the last 15 minutes of it was really glad and relieved it was finally finished.

I don't think the acts at the beginning were captivating apart from a few like Alien Uncovered etc.

Having Lauren first was underwhelming and bored me.

They left a lot of the good ones till last.

joeysteele 01-11-2015 09:57 AM

Also Halloween has been in the past one of the X Factors biggest audience nights so I cannot see how Halloween can be an excuse, its ratings have been falling all this series so far in the main too anyway.

arista 01-11-2015 10:02 AM

Thats OK Will

The Ad Companys are happy with that amount

Crimson Dynamo 01-11-2015 10:05 AM

the way they bigged up every act in desperation

 Catch up figures show that on average the x factor still gets ~ 9 million a week which are the figures which really need to be taken into consideration as opposed to the over nights

This.

People are just looking for reasons to put down X Factor

It's because they have more breaks then Gemma Collins walking up the stairs.

I think the poor ratings for X Factor is ironic, because it is just about the strongest line up of talent in the show's history.

:fan: at the desperate excuses, the last time X Factor aired on Halloween night it got 10 million in the overnights

May I also add for how many weeks has it been struggling to get 7 million? People no longer watch this show as the manipulation is blatant

consolidated ratings show that on October 3, The X Factor picked up an average of 9.01m viewers while Strictly remained at 8.68m fans.

All show gain so X Factor will still be way behind Strictly in the final rating.

That sad thing is the X Factor is no longer the show it was the producer don't have a clue what there doing and I'm sure ITV will axe it next year and probably fill out with the voice if they win the rights.
