They ruined a classic song last week with the AWFUL reggae version of Someone Like yOu. I cant believe that dope got through

why can't they just do like Britney vs Madonna or 2015 or 80's where it's specific in what they have to do, last week was just pick any song you want, same with this but most people will just do slower piano or acoustic versions of songs

I'm liking the broad themes but I can see this week being painful judging from the Adele Cover last week.

I would rather something like this than one artists vs another artist.

My answers to your themes.

1. Neither can sing so there's no real challenge to doing their songs unless you want a karaoke night.

2. I like the sound of a 2015 theme as this show is incredibly dated, but the only way you will ever get that is if Simon left the show, and as that won't happen now until the show ends and moves to Ch5 you won't get your wish there.

3. We have that theme every week.

Yeah but from watching xtra factor last night they have hardly reinvented the songs, just stole other peoples versions of songs. Max is using a ukulele for somewhere over the rainbow(if anyone has seen fifty first dates then you will know that that has already been done, and I really like it so don't want max to do it) also a slower sexier version of crazy in love for Monica?(50 shades of grey anyone??) and 4th impacts version of sound of the underground sounded the same as the original. I'm intrigued about Louisa's version of billie jean because I love her, but didn't Leah mcfall(whooo?) do that already? And as for antons bang bang Simon has picked sooo wrong there! He doesn't like his overs anyway he wants a girl to win for the sake of his show and his record label

I like that they are trying to bring some new themes rather than Michael Jackson week etc

Yeah lets see how it goes, it could be and should be good sadly X Factor rarely brings out the best of much these days for me.
