I just don't understand how anybody can be fooled by these illiterate idiots?

You'd be surprised. I used to work for a bank and everyday you'd hear about customers being scammed / new types of phishing emails being sent out etc. Unfortunately it tends to be the vulnerable in society that fall victim (and no offence meant but people who 'aren't all there')

I missed out on £240m because I didn't send them my bank details.
