I cant ever understand why if I am completely honest. I think the X factor has become a bit of a joke at times but if I had to JUST WATCH one of them it would be the X factor every time. I like Strictly but I guess I am more into singing or dancing. I certainly enjoy Strictly much more since Bruce is gone but I reckon Claudia is a FAR better presenter than wooden Tess. I know I know I am in the minority but even though I complain about the X factor I still prefer it

I'm glad Strictly is getting miles ahead of TXF.

X Factor has been truly awful this year. It's about time ITV axe it and bring in a new music show.

I can't wait until Simon's weekly "more people are watching on catch-up" excuse. But yeah, this year just feels really flat, I'm certainly not as into it as I have been in the past.

(but yeah Strictly always beats X Factor, it's nothing particularly noteworthy - like the fact that X Factor was beaten by the 6 O'Clock News)

I say again, no contest now for me,if Strictly.... was on right against X Factor at the same time, I would watch Strictly......

Last night a one and a half hour programme slot for just 9 songs at around 2 minutes each is now tedious.
