UN Agrees To Combat Isis Threat 'By All Means'
So Will Some Labour
and the SNP stop the PM on a Vote. To be honest the 6 planes that may bomb Syria are not needed as USA , Russia and France have it covered, SkyNewsHD just reported estimated 60 Labour MP's would back the Vote to Air Bomb. http://news.sky.com/story/1591572/un...t-by-all-means |
Excellent news and for me the PM if he makes the case for action now should be supported as to it, still allowing people to follow their own consciences on the issue however.

Russia says it has intensified its air raids on what it calls "terrorist" targets in Syria and raised to 69 the number of its aircraft there.
But President Vladimir Putin said the current level of attacks was not enough to defeat so-called Islamic State (IS). Russia said it fired cruise missiles for a fourth day against IS targets. The long-range missiles were launched from Caspian Sea warships. Some missiles hit IS in strategically important Deir al-Zour, reports say. The IS-held town in eastern Syria lies between the IS self-proclaimed capital of Raqqa and territory that the jihadists also control in neighbouring Iraq. Deir al-Zour province is also rich in oil. The Russian military says it fired 18 cruise missiles on Friday, destroying seven "Islamist" targets in Raqqa, Idlib and Aleppo provinces. Col Patrick Ryder, a spokesman for US Central Command, said the Russian air strikes in recent days targeted more IS areas, including the group's oil infrastructure. But he added that "the majority of Russian air strikes are still against moderate Syrian opposition forces, which is clearly concerning, and those strikes are in support of the Syrian regime" of President Bashar al-Assad. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-34882503 |
Can't see Corbyn agreeing to that.

I think the 'U' Turn' King will not agree now, but in a week or so when enough behind the scenes pressure has been brought to bear on him, he will agree.

voting for Air Bombing |
All countries need to get together and attack Syria/Iraq from all borders and corner the bastards

I don't think this bombing and stuff does any good. It will risk lives, but I really do feel we need feet on the ground in these countries. By endlessly dropping bombs, we cannot be sure we are not killing innocents, while it may not be reported, I am quite sure a fair few have been killed recently.
Corbyn could not defeat this in a vote, IMO. Too many of his party agree with it. |

I don't see the point in bombing a little. Just puts a bigger target on our back, either try to wipe out a lot of ISIS or leave it, but don't leave it we can't just sit back

Well lets hope our bombings are more strategic than the Russians.
This site brings news directly out of Syria. Its translation is sometimes poor but it allows you to see what's happening from Syrian journalism http://www.raqqa-sl.com/en/?p=1515 |
 it won't work. I mean this is all very rousing and trumpets and "let's get 'em" and all that but... Yeah. It won't work. Can we sticky this thread or something? It's OK I'll just bookmark it on Firefox, specifically so that I can come back in a year or two after all of the bombing / military action, when we're no further along and probably mourning another similar or worse situation to Paris, and I'm going to quote this post and say " told you it wouldn't work".

PSHHH, the UN. **** off UN. what are they gonna do? We all know it's up to NATO and the Russians to deal with it. The UN has no significant Military force, they ave "peacekeepers" and those peacekeepers just seem to show up and rape children if you've been following the news of all the child rapes among "peacekeepers" in the past few years.
The UN can go **** themselves. |

Every complex problem can be broken down in to a number of simpler issues, and when all the issues are addressed, the problem is solved. Bombing is just one technique amongst many, but it is still necessary to halt the IS expansion, and remove the resources it has captured and is profiting from. |

It should be a free vote in the Commons so all MPs can vote as and with their consciences, ironically I think the majority would be a bigger one for action if that was the way the vote was done.

can't we get a hold of the chinese manufactures that make Korans, and put some kind of poison in them?
we should find a way to make the toxic religion ACTUALLY TOXIC. |
