Super Smash Bros for Wii U - Cloud released today, last two DLC characters announced
 

I've started playing it again an I'm living for it tbh. Roy's become my undisputed fave, I downloaded Mewtwo and I was so disappointed, He's so crap compared to Melee :sad:

Can't wait until next month for Cloud's release.

Yess!! Dezzy we need to use this thread every day to talk about the best game ever.

Roy is definitely the best extra character to download although Ryu is quite fun to play with as well. Mewtoo was definitely a dissapointment, but then compared to Melee i'd say a few other characters got worse as well.

But the best thing about the Wii U version for me, was the addition of Rosalina and Luma :D have you played her much Dezzy?

Yeah's she's a interesting character but I'm not too good with her. I'm not great at controlling both her and Luma.

So disappointed there's no campaign with this game :/

Yeah, would have been nice if they did something like what they had in Brawl.

I'm annoyed that tournament mode and story mode are not on the wii u version :bored:

There's gonna be a Smash Centric Nintendo Direct next Saturday, it's believed that they're gonna announce a few more characters and release them right after along with Cloud.

Ah that's so exciting! Are there any predictions as to which characters will be released?

Most predictions that I've seen think that there's going to be two along with Cloud, a returnee and the winner of Nintendo's poll. When it comes to absent characters I can only think of Snake, Wolf and Ice Climbers and I don't think it'll be Ice Climbers since the 3DS can't handle them.

Who knows who won the poll, it was an open poll so there's countless possibilities.

The other character is some irrelevant Fire Emblem character that isn't Roy so I don't care.

Couldn't believe it when it opened with fire emblem fates I honestly thought it was a trailer. That's now 6 bloody fire emblem characters. Don't get me wrong I love fire emblem but I don't understand how it warrants 6 characters.

Quite happy with Bayonetta though. I ruled her out because I thought she might not have fit in with the 'neutral' ethos of smash so I got a shock there. Personally I voted for Rayman or Shantae but she'll do.
