Yes Britain has a big role to play in Syria. We have 'Brimstone' the most sophisicated missile of its kind and British built.Only the UK and the Saudis currently have 'Brimstone'.It can take out targets which are moving up to 70MPH with pinpoint accuracy with minimal civilian casualties.

each cruise missile costs about £1 million and each trident missile costs just under £17 million, so 100k is very cheap when you consider the research and development that went in to creating them

Worth every penny when it's vapourising a couple of IS terrorists.

The PM would need to outline very clearly and in full detail any plans he may have, if indeed he has any at all that is, as to the end solution after any UK involvement.
I didn't hear anything of substance as to that at all from him so would be reluctant to support it, as indeed both Labour and Conservative MPs have great concerns as to that issue too.

He'll need that to be very clearly relayed to parliament in order to get the backing he needs, if he does that then he will warrant being supported.
Although I still feel it right that it should be a free vote and all MPs able to vote as their own conscience dictates.

Yes. The sort of money that would change most British citizens life is totally worth blowing up one ISIS jeep accomplishing more or less nothing at all.

But that's war I guess. That's government. They'll spend ten times more on a bomb than on a child.
