It intrigues me that they've included this in the press release. They never put anything in there about nominations, and with Frow promising an overhaul next year could we finally see a consistent nominations format? Or will they just change their mind within the first week?

tbf we got 3 round of normal noms in CBB16, and like 2 twisty ones.

Obviously a lie, they always mess with noms, wish it was true though.

I think we're get mostly normal noms and a couple of twisty noms.

CBB16 was a huge improvement so I'm more happy to believe them now, although we'll see.

A few twisty noms isn't an improvement. Especially in a series where there's only like 5 rounds of nominations. There should be none whatsoever.

It's silly little gimmicks like that which is why the show is in the state it is today and is slowly drifting further and further from it's original format.

did CH4 ever have nominations twist?

CBB seems to get more normal noms than Civy BB.

I don't mind one twisty nominations and rest DR nominations but it seems like its opposite One DR noms and rest twisty face to face nominations

There were a few but not every series and they actually had a purpose and were for well-thought out twists or as part of punishments as opposed to just springing out a round of face-to-face nominations or showing them who nominated who on the plasma screen.

CBB16 nominations:

Day 6 - normal noms.
Day 10 - USA team only ones to nominate as they won the challenges, winning immunity.
Day 13 - normal noms
Day 18 - Farrah and Jenna only ones to nominate in their fake eviction twist
Day 25 - normal noms

Only twist which is acceptable is day 10's twist as it fits in with the theme I guess.

But how will they ever rock the house if they don't throw in a weekly face to face nom bomb !!!!!

CBB15 actually had quite a lot of normal noms, I thought it didn't but just looked on wiki.

Not really. Because they were all shown to the house or the housemates knew who nominated who in one form or another.

DR Nominations then shown to the house on plasma

And both the normal nominations in the series had something attached to it like KP save and replace, Perez choosing who faced eviction from tied HM's and his eternal nomination.

AKA bull**** rigs to save their favs.
