Monk sacked at Swansea

he hath gone

No surprise really

Terrible decision. He is Swansea through and through and took them to within 4 points of a European spot last season, sold their star player and goalscorer for £28m and they didn't give him much of that money at all to spend to get someone in. Their form has obviously been terrible for a couple of months but they're hardly in a Villa/Sunderland like situation.

You'd usually expect Swansea to be looking at top half at most as their expectation but if they're not given money to spend then teams like Stoke and Palace who do spend are going to leapfrog them which is exactly what has happened... It's their board/transfer committee at fault, not Monk.

Bit ironic for an Arsenal supporter to be querying clubs standing by their manager :joker:

When we're second in the league and about to pull off the greatest CL escape of all time? Nonsense cherie
