The cutest thing EVER happened at work today
 

seriously, I nearly cried

but yeah I'm working at a school atm helping out in the nursery attached to it and I saw these 3 kids jumping up and down repeatedly on something and was like, hmm, whats going on there? So I walk to to see what they are doing and find that they've squashed this giant ass worm into the ground, and I've never seen anything so flat (other than my tits of course) and immediately I'm like 'omg no, you cant do that, it's mean, the poor worm etc etc' and then one of the kids said 'is it dead?' and i was like oh god, might as well tell them, so I did and two of them didnt care and one of them felt all sad and i felt well guilty. So I was like 'shall we bury it?' and the child nodded their head and I attempted to scoop up the worm which was basically in like 16 different parts.

Anyway I buried the worm in some dirt and then the child brings over a pen and some paper and starts scribbling and like okay you got over that quickly enough and then the child said to me 'heres a flower for the worm' and I literally said 'awwww' out loud and nearly cried. Like I didnt even mention flowers and then I started thinking about why the child would even know to put a flower on top of something you bury and then I got even more sad.

But then the kid saw there was a free bike so they went off and played, having totally forgotten about worm-gate and I was still standing there trying not to cry but also laughing at myself a little.

but yeah I thought this was really cute and i probably look really crazy now.

cut in half, yes... but this worm was cut into like 100, flattened to death and then, as you say 'buried alive' so i very much doubt its alive!!!
