Really wish they would stop calling these hoverboards though. It's a swegway.

If cyclists with helmets, lights and reflectors struggle to be seen then this kid had no chance :(

Aren't they illegal on pavements? thought heard that somewhere,anyway,such a sad time for his family,poor kid.

Very dangerous.Maybe some kind of licence or age restriction is needed.Poor kid.

They're banned, you're not supposed to ride them anywhere.

Well it is probably a good thing that they're banned.It is probably more health and safety issue rather than losing money on public transport otherwise bikes and skateboards would be banned too.

Very sad. At 15 life should be just beginning, not ending.
My thoughts are for his family and friends.
