Do you have a starter on Christmas Day?

I'm doing a prawn and celery cocktail and Pate and ****. Do you have starters before your Christmas Dinner?

Babayaro. 18-12-2015 11:11 PM

Yeah usually either soup or like a selection of wee chicken and satay things. lmao how basic

Drew. 18-12-2015 11:11 PM

Prawn cocktail every year, the best way to start the meal.

Daniel-X 18-12-2015 11:13 PM

Usually have prawn cocktail but we're having salmon pearls or something this year

Black Dagger 18-12-2015 11:18 PM

Usually just melon. I can't stand prawn cocktail.

No, I'd rather have a huge dinner.

Tom4784 19-12-2015 12:30 AM

We just have a big dinner and dessert.

smudgie 19-12-2015 12:31 AM

No.
We need to leave as much room as we can for the dinner...we normally go back for the pudding an hour or two later.

I have a BIG dinner too :D at 3pm, but no dessert after the dinner.

Around about 5pm I have Christmas pud though. :D:cheer2: With custard.:cheer2:

I usually eat light before the big dinner. A very light breakfast, orange juice, some fruit, and at midday a sandwich. :)

We have a starter either soup, pate or smoked salmon plus dinner then pudding a few hours later.

Niamh. 19-12-2015 06:27 PM

We do, this year I still have no idea what to do though, Gav wants prawns and Luke wants rashers, how do I combine the two

Do both! Luke could have Bacon and Avocado, if he won't eat that do pigs in blankets not really a starter but if that's what he wants
