I like star wars, but i don't get the obsessive love for it at all. it's a fun children's movie, but it's very cheesy. I put it in the same category as harry potter. i'm not a big harry potter fan either. i think i've only seen 2 of the harry potter movies, and i don't remember which ones. one of them was like the olympics for wizards or something, that's all i remember.

I'm way more excited for the new star trek and new x-men movies next year.

I absolutely detest star wars and find it the most hyped film ever. Each to their own and all but it's total ****. :laugh:

Only because you have'nt looked into the deeper story and politics of Star Wars.The transformation of the republic into an empire.The lefties versus the righties.The communists versus the Nazis.The story is genius.The fact they started it at episode four and the space they left for the story to develope and the amazing job they did with the story in the later films.
I love Star Wars and i think anyone who does'nt just does'nt have the attention span to get it.
True genius of our time.
You have to watch them all in order to appreciate the true genius behind the story.

Star Wars isn't perfect by any means, but I do find with people like that Kat Timpf woman is that she probably has the view of "it's just like Star Trek" so has refused to give it a chance out of her own ignorance towards the genre.

Does she deserve the threats? No, but being ignorant and insulted the fans that aren't being ignorant isn't right either.

Btw I'm not saying that everyone that doesn't like Star Wars is ignorant btw, but this woman talks on Fox News about disliking Star Wars ffs so we all know that she's ignorant.

Watched it for the first time yesterday shocked by how much I loved it. Finished the first trilogy already.

Why did she have to mock people because they like something she doesn't? Death threats are a big strong, but she sounds like a whiny attention-seeker who feels better about herself by ripping the piss out of other people. You can't expect to insult a massive group of people and not have them get angry.
