Where do you fall on the extroversion-introversion spectrum?

Energized by raving on the weekend or do you recharge after a long day's work by the telly with your feet up and a stash of magazines by your side? Or are you somewhere in the middle?

The first bit.

I'm a bit of both I love going out and socialising. Like I can party till 3pm the next day if I could. but I also love staying in and finishing two seasons of something in one night or recently I've started waking up early and just writing stories.

I’ve actually been reading quite a bit lately into the psychology of personality and the whole concept of the introversion-extraversion continuum, hence the thread. In case you’re not familiar with the psychological jargon in the poll, “ambivert” pretty much means being in the middle of the spectrum (a mix of introvert and extrovert features) and after that I thought it’d be worthwhile having two options for ambiverts who are slightly more towards one end but still in the average range.

I like people but I have zero social skills so I am just stuck in a vicious circle of wanting to be social and feeling uncomfortable around all other human beings. :joker:

It's different online because you can choose which part of your is on show, whereas in real life you can't pick and choose, you are vulnerable. Everything down to my body language, aptitude of verbal communication and self confidence is part of socialising in real life which I have some struggles with, I am not too bothered though, I still push on. :)

Pretty much me. Not that I'm much of a writer but at the minute I'd sooner get through a box set of Better Call Saul than go out.

Definitely more of an extrovert overall

CouchPotato8 05-01-2016 04:58 PM

Most def introvert. Hate parties. Love one on one and alone time. Classic definition.

I definitely know what you mean re. one-on-one time. I like going out but at the same time I need time to recharge and unwind and not necessarily be surrounded by tons of people 24/7.

Ashley. 11-01-2016 01:25 PM

I consider myself an outgoing person, but work just makes me want to eat & sleep all the time so I can't express it.
