There's no gore at all. I enjoyed it, kinda feels like a new Gremlins.

Oh good! I'm nervous. I've watched the trailer, I'm guessing it's quite jumpy?

I heard it's a comedy too so I've told my friends it's just an ordinary Christmas film.

It's more of a comedy than horror (I've found some deaths quite humorous), which I don't mind. The main actors are all known for being in comedies too so there's that. There's a couple jumpscares but nothing major.
