Obviously not this charity single but her riches depends on future sales after Simon ditched the £1 million prize after everyone was flopping

I bought Cannonball like a true fan :)

Jordan. 01-01-2016 08:10 PM

Congrats :) Cannonball was actually a good song

Amy Jade 01-01-2016 08:11 PM

Unlike Forever Young :)

Jordan. 01-01-2016 08:13 PM

Obviously did anyone say otherwise

Jordan. 01-01-2016 08:13 PM

I didn't say her career was over either, but it's hardly looking good and clearly her fans aren't being very supportive if they can't even support her 1st single...the competition wasn't even that strong either.

I never said Cannonball missed out on the Xmas number 1? But in terms of sales, it sold like the third least copies out of all winners singles or something.

And look at them now... the same could happen to Louisa. I don't think it's fair to write her off so soon.

Little Mix were the last act to make a proper career off XF. It is generally dying out. Doesn't help when the last few winners have been pretty meh too.

Ella Henderson you mean?

Ghost sold 1 million copies and her album went platinum and is doing well in America.

Strictly Jake 01-01-2016 09:34 PM

To be fair it's cos the song is tosh Louisa still is good

Jamie89 01-01-2016 09:42 PM

Does anyone else remember when Leona became huge? It wasn't on the release of her X Factor song, it was on the release of Bleeding Love. That's when people really paid attention and started taking her seriously.

Precisely, and isn't she like 17? She's got plenty of time, and from what I've seen of her, enough talent to make it.

Great news :clap1:

Yes! Cannonball is actually my favorite ever winners single

I feel sorry for her. She's an amazing singer and deserves more recognition. Especially considering Steve Brookstein even got #1

I know the show is losing viewers but loads of people just voted her to win so I would have thought they would want to buy her song.

Hope she does really well, she's really talented and deserves it.

People liked supporting her when it cost them nothing with the free voting but as soon as they have to actually support her career the fans haven't been so quick in their support.

it all depends on the song she realises because Forever Young was a poor choice for a winners single.

Ella doesn't owe that to The X Factor though, she owes that to great writers, management and pure talent.

Doesn't that go for any successful X Factor act though? like Little Mix

EspeonBB 01-01-2016 11:01 PM

tbf if Louisa comes out with good music that will appeal to the public she will be successful  Her XF single "flopping" won't matter

Because people don't like the song... not everyone is a sheep and supports anything their fave puts out even if it's crap.

We'll save our coins for when she releases her own music :clap1:

Well no because Little Mix won and had a huge push from Syco. Ella did the tour and was forgotten

Call me a sheep if it makes you feel better about not supporting who you claim to like and causing her to be called a flop - I call supporting my favourite artists being a fan and I can afford to spend a pound to buy their music

If I choose to support somebody on the show it tends to last longer than straight after the show ends - hence me still being a big Little Mix and Leona fan
