Just wondered how all us viewers found the Cleo winding up Dirk act on tonights show?

Ruth*Star 21-01-2007 08:26 PM

Hilarous, i was lmao

CJ4Life 21-01-2007 08:27 PM

I had one eye on it, but she was funny. I think Dirk needs to realise that he isn't just the funny guy

Chrizzle 21-01-2007 08:27 PM

I thought she was really funny.

Sasha 21-01-2007 08:28 PM

Dirk was a bit odd! Why didnt he play along!

gemmalou 21-01-2007 08:31 PM

It was really funny but why didn't dirk play along??

Tanser_Man 21-01-2007 08:32 PM

Sometimes she is, sometimes she isn't.

I don't understand why she kept doing it knowing it was winding him up, wasn't she one of the people trying to get the house peaceful yet now she's trying to wind up Dirk?

He did seem a bit off then but everyone has there moments i suppose.

Robyn. 21-01-2007 08:32 PM

She was hilarious.

Sasha 21-01-2007 08:32 PM

That was odd and everyone could see that it was turning off

Siouxsie 21-01-2007 08:32 PM

andybigbro 21-01-2007 08:33 PM

CJ4Life 21-01-2007 08:33 PM

AndyJK 21-01-2007 08:33 PM

I had to switch over as it was really grating on me.

Painfully unfunny.

GlitterEyes 22-01-2007 06:52 AM

I found it funny, Dirk needs to lighten up. If he cannot take it he shouldn't dish it out.

sarahtheangel 22-01-2007 07:25 AM

i will admit at first it was funny but she could see he wasnt comfatable with it but carried it on cause the others thought she was funny , which by then was not

Most people seem to think it wasn't funny at all.

What Dirk was doing was nothing like what Cleo was doing. I've said it all in another thread, so I'm just going to copy and paste - and apologise for posting this twice.

Dirk was sleeping when Cleo went in and deliberately woke him up to pester him. I'm not saying that the housemates shouldn't have gone in the living area - it's there for all of them to use, but to deliberately wake him up to pester him is damn rude.

He asked her to stop a couple of times, but she wouldn't. So he went out of the room, and still she followed him around the house doing what she knew was winding him up. Why would someone do that? If someone was upset, why keep pushing it further and further? Because it's funny to see someone upset? To provoke an argument? Who knows? But even the other housemates clearly thought that Cleo should leave it and not follow Dirk out of the living room.

I also thought she showed a nasty side when she was in the diary room and said, "Dirk's about to crack - I think we should play on that." Why?? If someone is on the edge, why try and push them over it? Is it funny to see someone crack up?

Her reasons for following him around were that if he dishes it out, he should be able to take it. What a stupid reason. She mentioned that he was talking to Jo and Danielle about porn and she didn't seem to like that. Well first of all, it was obvious that he was JOKING! Secondly, Jo and Danielle have the filthiest mouths out of all the housemates, so it was pretty obvious that they wouldn't be offended.

Same when he was playing around with Shilpa...Shilpa clearly wasn't bothered by it, as she was laughing around with the rest of them (plus, she has been flirtatious with Dirk, and playing on the fact that he fancies her).

If either Jo and Danielle, or Shilpa had asked him to stop - like he asked Cleo - I'm sure he would have done. He said himself that if he was teasing someone and they told him to stop, he would.

I find it hilarious that Jo said that Dirk had no manners. The words pot and kettle come to mind. Since Jo has been in the house, she has proven herself to be bad-mannered, bad-tempered, foul-mouthed, spiteful and bitchy.

She also commented that Dirk had said she couldn't use his lighter any more. I didn't see him say that, so I don't really know what context he said it in...however, it sounded like the gas in the lighter was going down. Regardless, it's quite ironic that Jo is moaning because he said that to her. She has constantly been bitchy and rude about Shilpa (she's only stopped because Jade was evicted and Jo and Danielle are worried that their behaviour towards Shilpa was not liked by the public). As Cleo herself said, "If someone is going to dish it out, they should be prepared to take it." Maybe she should tell Jo that.

Incidentally, humour is subjective. I personally found Cleo's 'Tiara' character about as funny as a hole in the head. It was just plain annoying.

Let's not forget that Dirk said if he was teasing someone and they asked him to stop, he would stop. He asked Cleo two or three times, and not only did she NOT stop, she followed him through the whole house. She also said that she could tell he was annoyed when he was in the living room...so why carry on deliberately winding him up.

Those three girls (Cleo, Jo and Danielle) are poisonous. They take pleasure in the fact that they think Dirk is close to cracking. Anyone who finds that funny or entertaining must not be very nice.

lilmissnaughty 22-01-2007 10:21 AM

It was hilarious! I love Cleo, she's wicked!

CJ4Life 22-01-2007 10:28 AM

Dirk has problems with his little dirk doesn't he. I am telling you, he was scared, man. That little Dirk would pop up on national TV

I just found it sooooooooooooooo uncomfortable to watch. Cleo's such an awful human being. She totally lost any credibility when Jackieyieyioh was evicted. "The most important person I've ever met" crocodile tears etc. The woman's loopy, and not in a good way.

i agree with that, i use to think she was alright, you know, being the mediator between the two groups.

But she clearly has issues, and is very insecure.

MarkWaldorf 22-01-2007 03:22 PM

Not too sure

stacey 22-01-2007 03:26 PM

i thought it was funny

Noopie 22-01-2007 03:31 PM

Not too sure.. It would have been hilarious if Dirk had played along.. but since he didn't it was pretty awkward.

ttw 22-01-2007 03:37 PM

I thought it was funny..

He is a total hypocrite anyway because when asked by Ian(who had done nothing to him) to smoke outside he wouldn't , Shilpa is allergic to cigar smoke and he is aware of this yet he still wouldn't smoke outside.

He has issues, he acted like a sulking child.

He was only upset because he got played better by his own game.
